On the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneur Day 13th October, CMIT is one of the 18 outstanding companies all over the province to be rewarded the Certificate of Merit from Chairman of People’s Committee of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province for outstanding performance and contribution into social-economic development of the province.

In more than 11-year operations, CMIT has always been a pioneer in opening new chapters for Cai Mep deep-water port cluster by accommodating successfully mega container ships, notably the event of receiving vessel with 194,000 DWT in 2017 and then larger vessel 214,000 DWT in 2020. It made Cai Mep become one of the very few terminals in the world being able to handle such one of the biggest vessel size. Experience from the successful calls of the mega vessel at CMIT built up important foundation for Ministry of Transport and Vinamarine to grant permission for other Cai Mep ports to accommodate big vessels.

 

 

Combining with our outstanding productivity, uninterrupted operations even in the super challenging period when covid-19 pandemic hit the South severely from mid-2021, safe and healthy working environment, Vietnam imports and exports are connected to global market with the best services at CMIT.

These above factors are key indicators to help Cai Mep being ranked at the Top 11 most efficient container ports in 2021 in the world, announced by the World Bank and S&P Global Market Intelligence. CMIT is proud of its major contribution to this Cai Mep achievement.
